Burgettstown Area Community Development Corp.
Our vision is to revitalize our historic downtown by drawing visitors from nearby attractions back to our Main Street storefronts. We are committed to fostering a vibrant atmosphere by introducing diverse, family-oriented activities that all local residents can participate in and enjoy together.
The BACDC proudly sponsors the Hometown Hero Program, a heartfelt initiative dedicated to honoring over 200 local veterans who served in the armed forces. To ensure this tribute remains accessible to families, our organization contributes towards the costs of mounting brackets and shipping for every commemorative banner displayed.
Each winter, we host Christmas on Main, a festive community tradition. This free holiday celebration, held during the first weekend of December, provides a joyful experience for children aged 15 and under, fostering local holiday spirit and making lasting seasonal memories.
We recently completed the exterior of a new 14’x28’ facility at 1711 Main Street. Once interior funding is finalized, this building will serve as our primary hub for organizing community programs. This dedicated space will empower our board and volunteers to expand their outreach, streamline operations, and launch future initiatives that benefit the entire Burgettstown region.
